Today we went to Ribatejo to visit our supplier of GUBO cork boxes, for long distance gelato travel. We visited their factory to see the details of the prototype and further fine-tune the design. We took this opportunity to learn more about the origin and the journey of our cork, from the cork tree to the hands of our customers.
From early on, GULATO decided that it would not use any materials that were not biodegradable and/or compostable to honor our Milky Way. We love and respect the environment and we want to do everything to minimize our environmental impact. After all, we want Comporta to remain the paradise that it is, forever.
